The City of Rockingham Youth Recreation Space facilities proved a space for Skateboards, Scooter, BMX and other multi-wheeled activities offer young people the opportunity to enjoy active recreational pursuits, in a challenging, but safe environment.
In an era that will be remembered for digital entertainment, the City recognizes the importance of supporting young people to be active and has responded through the provision of Skate Parks and other facilities to encourage young people to spend time outside with their friends and keep physically and socially active.

PORT KENNEDY YOUTH REC SPACE - Veterans Memorial Park, Corner Warnbro Sound Ave and Endeavour Drive, Port Kennedy.
'DANIEL KELLEY MEMORIAL' YOUTH REC SPACE - Rhonda Scarrot Reserve, Tangadee Road, Golden Bay

ROCKY SCOOTER, SKATE AND BIKE JAM SESSIONS - Freestyle Now are coaching Jam Sessions. Informal coaching for Skate, Scooter and BMX riders. Come down and give it a go. There will be two qualified coaches, games, mini comps and lots of fun!

ROCKY SCOOTER, SKATE & BIKE COMPETITIONS - Freestyle Now are holding competitions from people of all abilities. Come down and show off your skills and latest tricks. All competitions are free to enter. There are three divisions - Girls Only, Beginner and Expert, all with great prizes!

SKATE ONLY COACHING SESSIONS - Skateboard Australia coaching sessions are for anyone who has never skated before. Come down and give it a go. Skate board Australia will have boards and helmets ready for you. There will be two qualified coaches, games, mini comps and lots of fun!
