Description

The Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce has a proud and varied history within the local business community starting in 1970 as the Rockingham Kwinana Businessmen's Association.

The inaugrural chairman was respected businessman Norm Snow, Proprietor of Rays Hardware in Railway Terrace.

During the 1970's the RC of C established a series of fund raising events which were extremely popular in the young developing town. The committee held socials, cabarets and formal black tie events in Flinders Hall (formerly opposite the guns at the War Memorial in Flinders Lane) and the Rockingham City Community Hall.

Today the Chamber is the peak industry body representing the interests of the business community in the South-West Metropolitan corridor.

Over the years we have had a number of members that have shown great commitment to the Chamber. In recognition of this commitment they have been inducted as Life Members of the Chamber.
Our current Life Members are Dale Kerferd, Barry Sammels, Rick Palmer, Paul Ogilivie, Laurie Smith, Stacy Graham, Alison Gibson and Justin Smith.

OUR MISSION:
We are a business community that promotes the values of INTEGRITY, TRUST, RESPECT and COMMITMENT to ethical business practices.
We engage with the broader community and interested stakeholders to foster regional economic growth.
