Situated in a quiet street at 80 meter from Cape Peron Regional Park, 280 meter from the beach and the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park, and 300 meter from Lake Richmond.
Pelicans Rest was newly built in 2012. The use of solid timber doors and stunning bay and lead light windows from old colonial houses in Fremantle, combined with some art nouveau features, results in a unique cosy and rustic atmosphere. All furniture is custom made from old jarrah slabs. As hundreds of pelicans fly over on a daily basis, back and forth between Lake Richmond and Penguin Island, the name for our property was easily found.
The bedroom (double bed) has a small office section and a basic food and drinks corner with a small bar fridge (no cooking facilities). The bathroom has a shower, a wash basin and a toilet. Outside there is a private patio with outdoor furniture. There is an additional shower and separate toilet under the main roof accessible from outside. Perfect for when you come home from the beach. The secure back yard is great for children to play in and you can store your bikes, surfboards, boogie boards etc there.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a Nespresso Coffee Machine with milk frother. We ask that you please bring your own coffee pods but we do have a small supply available for a small fee.
There is an air conditioner in the main living/dining room/kitchen, pedestal fans in the 2 main bedrooms and a Vornado fan in the 3rd bedroom. The house has high ceilings and is well insulated.
